Suppliers will only source logs from plantation forests that are managed in accordance with Sustainable Forest Management Practices that exclude genetically modified species or trees produced by any form of cloning technology. This excludes breed improvement of trees through screening, grafting, vegetative propagation or tissue culture none of which are regarded as creating genetically modified species.

Also that the Plantation Forests have obtained or are planned to obtain certification from internationally approved independent third parties within a specified time frame. Pulp from natural forests will be accepted in limited cases on the condition that certification has been approved by internationally recognised independent third parties.
